momstown Guelph meets every two weeks for our Music and Movement event. Our theme this month is ‘My Senses’, so we sang lots of songs about our noses, eyes, ears, tongues and skin! The children had fun talking about their favourite senses and finding ways to incorporate them into songs.
We also played some games with the rhythm sticks, and tapped them on different parts of our bodies. And of course we sang some circle song and got to dance around the room as well!
The children always enjoy free play time with the various instruments.
This month we had musicians as young as one month old, right up to preschool age. It’s never too early to discover the joys of Music & Movement! Come and join us next time!
