Easy Halloween costume Ideas!

1. Paper Bag Princess..... based on the story by robert munsch.....could turn a paper bag upside down and cut out a neck hole to be a princess. Dress with crown and shoes, etc....
2. Scarecrow: an easy do it yourself and you can always add a little straw/ raffia to the ends of the pants and shirt with some glue
3. Mummy: dress your child in a tight pair of shirts and shorts. Use toilet paper (not a cheap variety) to wrap them up leaving the face open. You could also use an old sheet cut into strips. Tuck the ends or tape them.
4. the classic ghost standby: Use a sheet to cut it to just your height. Cut out some holes for the eyes and mouth. You could get creative and really decorate the face with eyeshadow, eyelashes, lipstick, etc....
5. Old man or woman: Grey your child's hair and dress them to look a bit older. Give them a safe walking "stick" and some pretend glasses.
6. Easy skunk: black sweatpants and a piece of white tape down the back.
7. Farmer: Use overalls and a flannel shirt with a hat. Could carry a stuffed farm animal
8. Egg: wear all white and tape a piece of yellow to your belly that says "yolk"
9. pig in a blanket....wrap up warm and cozy in a blanket and attach or paint on a pig nose. Perfect for a baby that is in a stroller and might be cold!
