I am Small!

momstown Guelph meets each month for our Tales for Tots event which is sponsored by Scholastic Canada. This month we met at Chapters.

Each month, Scholastic gives us two books – one to read and one to raffle off to a lucky winner.

This month’s book was I Am Small by Emma Dodd. It’s a cute little story about a baby penguin who is very small. The penguin realizes that everything around it is very large and big which makes the penguin feel small. However, at the end it realizes that to his mother size doesn’t matter - he is very important and not small at all.

Our little readers had fun making Mosaic Penguins after story time.
