momstown Guelph met at Chapters for our monthly Tales for
Tots children’s book club. This month’s selection was Giraffes Can’t Dance by
Giles Andrea and Guy Parker-Rees. It was a cute story about Gerald the Giraffe
who feels left out because he wants to go to the annual Jungle Dance, but he’s a
very bad dancer. A little cricket teaches Gerald that everyone can dance, they
just need to find the right song. Gerald ends up being the best dancer in the
jungle!

After our story time, the children made Jungle Trees with coconuts to take home.
