Art & Play: Circus Picasso’s

 Keeping up with our Circus theme, momstown Guelph met for our monthly Art & Play: Picasso’s in the Park. This event is known for the diaper-only-wearing, finger-paint-covered toddlers… which is precisely why we hold it at outside at RiverSide Park.

We decided to make something using just circles of different colours, and came up with some lion heads. The children had fun gluing all the pieces together.

Then came the much-anticipated finger-painting part! Our little crafters preferred to use foam brushes this time, but still managed to get their fingers covered with paint.

Thanks to Huggies for supplying the wipes that were very helpful for cleaning up messy fingers (and faces, and legs, etc….)

Since we were at RiverSide Park, of course we ended our morning with merry-go-round and train rides. Join us next month for our On The Pond Picasso’s!
