Junior Chef – Edible Snowflakes

Once a month momstown Guelph moms get our Junior Chef’s in the kitchen to see what we can create. This month we decided to make some edible snowflakes! Here’s the recipe if you want to try them at home!

Start out with some 6” tortillas. Heat them in a microwave, one at a time, for 15 seconds. Once they are warm, fold them in half, and then in half again. (If you try to do this without heating them first, they will crack and tear).

Using some kitchen scissors, cut out shapes just like you would while making paper snowflakes.

Carefully unfold, and brush with vegetable oil.

Bake in a preheated oven at 400F. for four minutes.

Sprinkle with some icing sugar and enjoy!

Now have a look at the fun we had making them and make sure to register for your trial of momstown today so you can join us next time!
