This
month for Baby
Basics we read a great book from Scholastic Canada, I am a Train by Ace
Landers. This board book is great because is is simple to read, lots of
colours and best of all it is shaped like a train. The babies loved
looking at the train shape.
We even had a train toy that made some train like sounds.
Our winner Baby Sophia was happy to have a new book to bring home to her collection.
Once
the book was finished we played with our handmade sensory bin filled
with around the house items for babies to explore. In the bin there were
some items such as tissue paper, pasta in a bag, balls, soft toys,
rattles and more. There was lots of colourful scarves in the bin as
well.
It was fun to let the babies explore with lots of shapes, colours and textures and it was lots of fun reading a wonderful book!
