We Danced and Sang with the Backyardigans!

 We had a great time this month at our momstown Guelph Music and Movement.  Our event featured the Backyardigans and the kids had a great time singing and dancing along to their music.

We started off with a couple of games that included cards that had instructions on how to move.  There was Sit and Stretch and Tickle your Toes among others.  We also played pin the glasses on Pablo which was a big hit!

After that Miss Courtney led us in some other moves including tiptoeing across the room!  We also moved like sharks, Octopus and Clams.

 Then we all came together for Circle time where we sang more water and ocean bases songs.  Including our own version of Sleeping Bunnies which involved the ocean and some sleeping fish.

 At the end of our event Michelle the owner of Emotion Dance Company who was kind enough to let us use her space finished by going through a few of her Dance moves.
