This months music and movement took place at the beautiful
Emotion Dance Studio. It was the perfect spot for our music and movement
event with it's large mirrors and dance floor.
We had lots of fun dancing and playing lots of dancing games.
Since
it is so close to Valentines Day we played a game about hearts and
colours. There were a number of colourful hearts spread out on the floor
and we had to sing a song, if the Valentine was suppose to be blue we
had to run to the blue heart, if the Valentine was red we had to run to
the red heart.
We had a great time learning about colours and looking for hearts.
We
played some other really fun dancing games, like follow the leader and
dance freeze. Everyone had fun playing with some colourful scarves as
well and dancing with them.
We
played instruments and sang some of our favourite songs like Sleeping
Bunnies since this month's theme is Pajama Time. We were so tired from
all of the dancing and games that we could have used a nap.
