Slides and Swings and LLL

Today we met in the park to play and talk with Melissa from La Leche League (LLL) about breastfeeding. Melissa has 3 kids and they have all been (and are currently) breastfed.

Melissa was a wealth of information for us and shared her own struggles with breast feeding her first and how LLL.

It was a great time for the moms just to sit and talk about our experiences and struggles and successes with breastfeeding and parenting in general.

It was the perfect set up sitting at the edge of the park to chat while the older toddlers played on the playground.

Thanks so much to Melissa (and her son Griffin) for leading us in a breastfeeding discussion and sharing your knowledge with us. And tanks to all the moms and kids who made it out. It was nice to get out for some fresh air and great conversation.
