momstown Guelph had our annual Valentine's Day Party this week! We had so much fun celebrating the holiday of LOVE! Check out the momstown.ca arts and crafts blog for lots of fun craft you can do at home for Valentines!
We decorated paper bags to be our mailboxes and hung them in the room. The kids then were able to deliver the Valentines that they brought with them to all of their friends.
We also made some heart shaped characters with Google eyes and pipe cleaner arms! As well as a magnet to be taken home for the fridge!
A party would not be complete with out some party food! We decorated cupcakes with white icing and pink and red sprinkles! Moms hung out with their favourite little tots and had a chance to visit with other moms!
We wrapped it all up with a fun circle time where we learned 4 new songs and rhymes all about Valentine's Day and love. Even Valentine' day can be educational when you tie in some colours and counting. Try this fun little rhyme with your tots.
