Founded in 1979, Royal City School of Ballet and Jazz provides a high quality dance education and training programme.
The school teaches a solid technical base in Ballet and Jazz while encouraging artistic expression and enjoyment in a non-competitive atmosphere.
Ballet is available for students from 3 years old to adult and Jazz is offered for 6 years old to adult.
Contemporary Modern is available for the senior students.
A pianist accompanies the children's ballet classes.
Also on our schedule are "Jazzy Hip Hop" for 9 to 13 year olds and "Our Dance Time", a parent/child dance class for 2-3 year olds. Returning is "Body Conditioning", aka "stretch & strengthen" for 12 years + (no age limit and non - dancers welcome).
