Art & Play: Polar Animals

There are certain events that occur once a month at momstown Guelph and Art & Play is one of them.  The craft that we choose to do goes along with our theme for that month. February’s theme is Polar Animals, so we decided to make some penguins!
 

 

We started off by filling some empty water bottles with cotton balls – I think the kids had just as much stuffing the bottles as they did with the rest of the craft!
 

 

Then we added heads, googly eyes, beaks, wings and feet!  We soon had penguins waddling all over the room.

After all that hard work, we gave our crafters some free play time to drive trucks around and play ball.
