Beinvenue bebe!

This morning was our momstown Guelph French version of our popular Tales for Tots, Contes pour les bouts d'choux!

We had a new book to read titled Beinvenue Bebe which is a really sweet baby book about welcoming a new baby into your family and the world around them.  We really enjoyed this book, a big thanks to Scholastic Canada for providing it for us!

After reading the book our activity was making some file folder games using mama and baby polar animals that the kids could match up. 

• We first coloured in our mama and baby animals.  We had red and purple and pink penguins! 
• Then with some help from us human moms we cut them out and attached them to the file folder with velcro dots. 
• Now the kids can mix and match the mama and baby animals again and again.  Hopefully these folders will come in useful at times when mom might need the kids to be busy for five minutes!  ;)
