Art and Play - Wet, Wet, Wet!

The monthly theme for May was Wet, wet, wet! (which has been very suiting given our weather lately).  To go along with this, we decided to make Fish Bowls at our Art & Play event.

Our little artists are always excited when they see paint on the agenda, and they got to get their hands (and occasionally brushes too) into some blue paint to turn their paper plates into water filled bowls.

 

 

 

 

Next we added seaweed and fishes cut out of paper. Some of the fishes had drawn on eyes and even smiley faces!

 

Then we cut the centre out of another paper plate and covered the hole with saran wrap. Flip it upside down and attach - voila, instant fish bowl!
