Tales for Tots is a monthly event at momstown Guelph, which
is sponsored by Scholastic Canada. Each month Scholastic generously supplies up
with two copies of their Book of the Month. One copy is for us to read and share
at the event, and the second copy is raffled off to a lucky winner.
This month’s book was Split Splat! It’s a great story about
all the fun you can have outside in the rain and mud.
After reading the story, we did a cute Umbrella craft using
cupcake holders, paper and some glue sticks.
Clinton drew our lucky winner’s name, and Kenzie got to take
a copy of the book home to read again!
Of course, like every visit to Chapters, we had to end off by
playing at the train table. J
