Tales for Tots : Lucky Ducklings

Once per month, Scholastic Canada sponsors our momstown Guelph Tales for Tots event. They generously give us two copies of their Book of the Month; one to keep in our momstown library, and one to raffle off to a lucky winner!
 
This month’s book is Lucky Ducklings, by Eva Moore with pictures by Nancy Carpenter. It’s a cute little story about a mama duck and her little ducklings.
 

 

The children enjoyed hearing the story, and drawing a name for the book raffle. Clinton was our winner this time!
 

 

Since our theme this month is Lil’ Explorers, we had a Scavenger Hunt after story time. The children had fun going around Chapters to find different characters on books and toys throughout the store, and circling what they could find.
 

 

And as always, we end up playing with the trains at the train table before heading off for the day.
