Tales for Tots - Let it Shine

This month our momstown Guelph Tales for Tots shared a fun book called “Let it Shine”.  Our book was provided by Scholastic Canada who sponsors many of our momstown Literacy Programs.  Chapters hosts our book club in the children’s section of their store.

 

We introduced ourselves to get to know our new members and meet a guest mommy and daughter who were visiting chapters.  We read about the beach, the sun, camping, and at the end of the book it talks about the fall and going back to school. 

 

After our book we made cactus puppets to celebrate our theme of the month, The Desert.  Once the kids were tired of crafting we moved to the train table for some play and social time.

 

Our guest mommy and daughter won the draw for our book.
