The Donkey Sanctuary

To fit in with our theme of On The Farm this month, we decided to visit The Donkey Sanctuary.

We got to see lots of donkeys, mules, goats and even a nest with baby birds.
The children enjoyed petting the donkeys and watching them play and roll around in the cool dirt.

There were different barns to explore, and pastures to discover. Most of the animals were very friendly and patient with our young visitors.





















We learned lots about the different donkeys and what brought them to the Sanctuary. The staff members were very knowledgeable and willing to answer all of our questions.
