Tales for Tots - Old MacDonald Had a Farm!

Once a month momstown Guelph meets at Chapters for our Tales for Tots children’s book club. This event is sponsored by Scholastic Canada, who donate two books each month.

This month’s theme is Farm Animals, so what better book to read than OldMacDonald Had a Farm ?

This cute board book comes with attached finger puppets to act out the
story! There is a cat, a dog, a pig, a duck and a cow – on for each
finger!

The children enjoyed reading this story, and singing the song afterwards.
Of course their favourite part was making the different animal noises!
After story time, we made some barnsout of different shapes and colours. Some of the barn doors even opened up to show hidden animals
inside!







We ended by raffling off a copy of Old MacDonald Had a Farm to a lucky
winner!
